You can sponsor a child who has done well in the National Examinations despite the illiteracy of his or her family, and who now needs support to go to secondary school:

• The children come from remote villages and are personally known to our Board Members.

• We particularly aim to support girls who are at risk of being married off at the age of 15 without an education.

• Boarding school is the safest option, as the nearest secondary school is 7-20 km away.

• The costs are between 350 and 500 Swiss francs per year for 3 to 4 years.

• By sponsoring a child, you will receive his/her school records and follow his/her progress, enabling him/her to pursue higher education or learn a trade.

• Short videos and/or biographies are available for children who need support.

• Although the children have a limited level of English and are not used to being filmed or photographed, they have worked hard for their exams and are motivated to continue their studies!
